Fullerton Markets Limited (known as “FML”) focuses on providing financial products and trading services to Wholesale Clients in New Zealand through its trading platform, Fullerton Suite.
We enable Wholesale Investors to:
- open self-directed accounts to trade Forex, metals, indices, crude oil, cryptocurrencies and stocks; and/or
- use our CopyPip copy trading platform to provide and/or follow trading signals. A strategy provider earns performance fees on top of his trading profits, while a strategy follower earns on autopilot by copying winning trades.
FML is a New Zealand Registered Financial Service Provider under the Financial Service Providers (Registration and Dispute Resolution) Act 2008. Our Financial Service Provider registration number is FSP1001247.
FML is not licensed by a New Zealand regulator to provide brokerage services. FML’s registration on the New Zealand Financial Service Providers Register does not mean that FML is subject to active regulation or oversight by a New Zealand regulator.
However, FML is a reporting entity to the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) under the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009.
Financial Markets Conduct Act (FMCA) Wholesale Certificate
Fullerton Markets offers services to Wholesale Investors only. Wholesale Investors are defined in the FMCA. You may qualify as a Wholesale Investor and be eligible to invest with Fullerton Markets if you satisfy the criteria in the diagram below. We do not offer services to clients who do not fall within these definitions.
The offers on Fullerton Markets are governed by the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013. The relevant sections are Schedule 1, Parts 1 and 3. To review, click here.
To be categorised as a wholesale investor, you must provide Fullerton Markets with either an Eligible Investor Certificate or Safe Harbour Certificate.
If you qualify as Eligible Investor under Clause 41, you will need to provide an Eligible Investor Certificate which is certified by a New Zealand Financial Adviser, Chartered Accountant or Lawyer.
If you qualify as Wholesale Investor under Clauses 37-40, you will need to provide a Wholesale Investor (Safe Harbour) Certificate.
It is an offence to give a certificate knowing that it is false or misleading in a material particular. The offence has a penalty of a fine not exceeding NZ$50,000.
